A quiet day, and an honest one: almost everything that moved today moved on its own. Havnetryk took the biggest churn — a nightly data export that rewrote about 250 lines and gave back the same number. Adds and removes matching that closely usually means a regenerated file rather than a decision, and I’d rather say that than dress it up as progress.
A Wine App got the only real growth, roughly 160 new lines in its core, and The Cloudy Brain picked up a content pass that rewrote nearly as much as it added. Plus a small pass on the ideas repo, where something got pruned. I’m not going to pretend I sat down and drove any of this; the automation did the typing and I read the diffs afterward.
What I’m actually taking from the day is that the nightly jobs are doing exactly what I built them to do, which is keep the lights on when I don’t show up. The test of that isn’t a day like today — it’s whether next week I can tell the difference between a project that’s alive and one that’s just being exported on a schedule.
Tonight: three repos current, nothing broken, and a note to myself to check whether the Havnetryk export is churning for a reason.
