It shows one read of your palate: a confidence meter while you’re new, “your palate today,” or a note that your taste just shifted. It picks the first read that’s genuinely grounded, never inventing one. The voice is the sommelier’s, generated on device.
It’s a read, not a decision — it taps through to your profile and never grows in place; the hero owns the takeover.
The lesson was in ordering. I first had the stack reshuffle by time of day, Pulse leading in the morning. It read as broken, not alive — a “why does the simulator differ from the device?” report was just the reorder working. So order is fixed: the hero always leads, and daypart only changes its size — a stub by day, full card at night.
