Most of today went into A Wine App, and it was a big one: roughly 8,400 new lines. The morning was pure design. I mapped the three places a price currently lives and settled on one real, append-only table where the place is first-class, and the receipt spec was explicitly marked as design only, not built. By evening it was built. A receipt now prices a kept wine, the wine’s page lists prices by place, and you can link one of your own wines to the catalogue by hand.
The honest part is the middle. The price tests were patching the wrong copy of the database handle, so the suite was reaching past the mock; I fixed that and made a missing mount fail loudly. Then the UI tests took two wrong guesses at the same predicate before I filtered in Swift instead, and one commit didn’t compile at all.
Foreman got a second agent lane with its own launcher, dispatch, review queue and gates, plus heartbeat guards for low disk and slow staleness checks. The ideas repo logged 117 commits, judging by the subjects almost all ledger and board bookkeeping, plus small passes on mywine-ecosystem, Sodalis and The Cloudy Brain.
Tonight the receipt screen is on TestFlight, waiting for a real receipt.
