The redesigned Cellar card in A Wine App makes one quiet bet: the size of your collection is the design. The bottle count is set as a typographic hero — big, not buried in a stat row.
Under it, a line of the sommelier’s prose reads your cellar back to you, something like “a red drinker’s shelf, six regions deep.” It’s generated, but grounded only in deterministic facts — the count, the region spread, the colour mix — so the model narrates and never miscounts or names a bottle it can’t see. When the data’s too thin, the line drops to a plain region count rather than fake warmth.
Same bet as the Pulse the day before: a collection isn’t a metric to glance past, it’s the thing you’re a little proud of. Make the number the object, and let the app say one true thing about it.
